Documentaries
In the past 3 years, I've gotten the opportunity to direct and produce 2 short documentaries, 1 short-form documentary series, and 1 feature documentary. I focus on immigrant, diasporic narratives that often go underreported. I've walked myself into protests, rural homes, and I've experienced government pushback in the work I've done. But these stories will not stay in quarantine. They must be told.
Asian Perspectives on Asian Pacifics
AP on AP (Asian Perspectives on Asian Pacifics) is a series documenting the stories of Asian Americans in the Midwest and their experience. We are creating AP on AP to give a voice to the Asian community that was born and raised or moved to the great plains, as the narrative has been greatly untold. Our goal for this series is to showcase their stories and the diversity that exists in what's stereotypically seen as a nondiversified environment.
